Hello Becka is a DC native who moved to Pittsburgh and began her Etsy shop while home during Covid-19. Her incredibly unique, nature-inspired paintings include different mediums with a focus on sustainability.
Jessi Evans is a local artist that I discovered at The Farmer’s Daughter shop on the North Shore. Jessi painted an amazing hand-lettered design on the wall of the original shop & I was blown away. She also designed other products, such as the labels for TFD & candles. Her work focuses on nature and beautiful hand-lettering.
As a budding house plant guru (…get it?), Tal & Bert‘s gorgeous planters are simply stunning. I haven’t been quick enough to catch a pre-order, but I will be setting an alarm for the next one! They mix concrete & gorgeous raw minerals to create truly unique pieces.
Jan Burgard is a local mama who started selling her perfectly-made Nutcracker sugar cookies at the ballet studio where my oldest was dancing. I loved her attention to detail and my favorite part is that they actually taste amazing as well.
Stone + Sparrow is a small-batch ceramics studio with beautiful designs and amazing quality. I was introduced to their products at a craft show and have been obsessed since!
No. 14 is a no-brainer for this category. Their weekly new arrivals posted on their IG feed basically helped me survive quarantine (sorry bank account). She curates all of the shop’s inventory & also designs her own line of buttery-soft loungewear made in the US.
Straight Line Boutique is an online shop with the cutest pop-ups all over Pittsburgh. Nicole & her adorable Mama make shopping fun & accessible. I absolutely love her mix of neutral, easy-to-wear pieces.
The Farmer’s Daughter is another small business that I absolutely love. Lauren & her crew are the sweetest & make this one of my favorite places to pick out special gifts & house plants. Her IG feed is insanely beautiful and her flower farm is legit #goals
Hot Haute Hot is a must-see kind of place. They carry tons of unique home furnishings, lighting & decor plus amazing gift items such as jewelry & art. They also offer an online shop with some of their special finds.
HOUSE 15143 is another one of my favorite home goods shops in the area. There is an amazing mix of textiles, barware, and decor unique to Pittsburgh. It is located in the Sewickley area and within walking distance to Mediterra Cafe, which happens to be on my fave restaurants list.
